Fatty,fat-fat,fat

This is one of the various wonderful cats in my life. I found her over five years ago as a tiny, tiny kitten on Thanksgiving. I went outside frantically searching for a friends cat I was babysitting convinced the scoundrel had escaped only to come across this little kitten sitting in a fall leaf filled puddle in the street. I scooped her up and she’s been with us ever since. She was so hungry she couldn’t even wait for me to get her cat food, she sat right in the dog food bowl and started to chow down. Yes, that’s IN the dog food bowl, she was very little – once. Now I call her Fatty, fat,-fat, fat because as I said she was hungry once but never, never again. I can only guess that she’s pushin’ 18lbs. I also often call her my Buddha cat because she has the most serine and calm personality of any animal I’ve ever known. Nothing ever bothers her, she’s always a happy kitty. She also has this tiny little head and when she sits her fat pools around her feet in the pear shaped blob of kitty flesh and fur. Very cute and very Buddha-like.

Her name is Sadie, yes after the Beatles song ‘Sexy Sadie’ ‘cause, well, she’s a total lap slut. She loves everyone. You get this little warning paw patted on your thigh in unison with a tiny kitty trill of a meow that you better make a lap for her ‘cause she’s comin’ up! There is not a cat hater in the world that couldn’t be swayed by my sweet kitten Sadie.
